The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sonny Jönsson was the one to do the kick off. FC Lila Hästen's Sonny Jönsson got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rikard Källberg charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, FC Lila Hästen's goalkeeper Robin Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Nyström. With a little luck, FC Lila Hästen's Robin Arvidsson got control of the ball when Rikard Källberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Dals Rostock IFK's Kenny Kolberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Gunnarsson during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Ove Hellström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Esbjörn Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robin Arvidsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Richard Hedberg. Rikard Källberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robin Arvidsson could save by the left post. In the 93rd minute, Esbjörn Bäckman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dals Rostock IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
