Spectators: 6333 (Terracing: 4600, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustaf Wiklund started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Skålbo FF's zone, Gustaf Wiklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Ek came out of the goal and Gustaf Wiklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaf Wiklund went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th match minute, Skålbo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Kruse to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Kruse kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skålbo FF's goalkeeper Carl Ek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Gustaf Wiklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carl Ek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Gustaf Wiklund struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Carl Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syrianska FC. 27 minutes into the match, Syrianska FC's Gustaf Wiklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Ek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Skålbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Haegg. Carl Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaf Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carl Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaf Wiklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Ek having to interfere. If Robert Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Skålbo FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Syrianska FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Kruse made a kick off. When Skålbo FF's Kurt Kruse in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Syrianska FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anders Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Kruse in the 54th minute of play. Karl Sandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Sandberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl Sandberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Gustaf Wiklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Ek. Skålbo FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaf Wiklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Gustaf Wiklund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gustaf Wiklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Carl Ek made a huge save. Rune Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Carl Ek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syrianska FC. In the 89th minute, Christian Lagerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Syrianska FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skålbo FF.
