The Ankeborgs Plättarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Gabrielsson should have stopped the shot. 2-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Joakim Åkesson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olof Stigsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Arboga SK got a freekick which was hit by Olof Stigsson. 30 minutes into the match, Arboga SK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Hydén came free, but Björn Westerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthias Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Ankeborgs Plättarna's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Vikström came free, but Sten Gabrielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. From a short distance, Arboga SK's Aron Vikström, in the 34th minute, tried to place the ball behind Sten Gabrielsson, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Björn Westerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jimmie Hydén made the kick off in the second half. Ankeborgs Plättarna's Allan Brask was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Björn Westerstrand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimmie Hydén in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Westerstrand saved Arboga SK from getting behind. Sten Gabrielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Vikström in the 60th minute of the match. Aron Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Arboga SK booed when Ankeborgs Plättarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Joakim Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arboga SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Jimmie Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Aron Vikström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Lars Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ankeborgs Plättarna's Sten Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Åkesson in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ankeborgs Plättarna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arboga SK.
