In the 3rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Julius-Lasse Nieuwburg hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. A collision led to Brunflo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jörgen Eliasson hit a great ball. After 7 minutes, Jörgen Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brunflo and the UD Metropolitano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Brunflo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Malmberg in the 10th minute of play forced Brunflo's goalkeeper Douglas Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UD Metropolitano were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Brunflo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julius-Lasse Nieuwburg took the corner. In the 20th minute, Malte Malmberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Douglas Löfgren, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Malte Malmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Metropolitano's supporters rose to their feet, but Malte Malmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Löfgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes of play Brunflo's Jörgen Eliasson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 24 played minutes Brunflo got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Eliasson. Malte Malmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to UD Metropolitano getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Patrik Grönberg hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes UD Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Patric Dalström. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Euloxu to make the kick off. The supporters of Brunflo booed when UD Metropolitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Grönberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Baltasar Euloxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertil Frisk. UD Metropolitano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Euloxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Henry Magnusson got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Baltasar Euloxu. Douglas Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Malmberg in the 61st minute of play. If Ambrosio Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Stig Svanberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malte Malmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Douglas Löfgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Algot Hagberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. UD Metropolitano's Patrik Grönberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Brunflo defense, Malte Malmberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Löfgren. The Brunflo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Löfgren should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Baltasar Euloxu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bertil Frisk. That made the score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play.
