Andy Molander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rooster Football Academy. Zebastian Fredriksson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Malmberg in the 21st minute of play forced Rooster Football Academy's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Rooster Football Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Malmberg came free, but Lars-Erik Hägglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Rooster Football Academy's Hugo Waller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Molander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andy Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Styrbjörn Caballero in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Åttesta BK defense, Styrbjörn Caballero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Molander. The Åttesta BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Molander should have stopped the shot. Fred Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Lars-Erik Hägglund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute Styrbjörn Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Rooster Football Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Waller to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Hagberg to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Styrbjörn Caballero from a close distance when the talented Andy Molander managed to make a qualified save. Åttesta BK's players were relieved. Lars-Erik Hägglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Hugo Waller fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Carl Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Hägglund having to interfere. The supporters of Rooster Football Academy booed when Åttesta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Åttesta BK's zone, Niclas Tönnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Molander came out of the goal and Niclas Tönnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rooster Football Academy's Lars-Erik Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Malmberg in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Hugo Waller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rooster Football Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
