Tommy Wallman made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gösta Eckegren however managed to control. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Mårten Duset with Bertil Berg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bertil Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Vegas Grappar booed when Rimbo FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Ahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Kaxe in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Hellgren saved Rimbo FK from getting behind. Rimbo FK's Kristian Hellgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Rimbo FK from getting a goal against them. Vilhelm Kaxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Hellgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilhelm Kaxe ran back to his position shaking his head. Atilano Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilano Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Berg in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Kristoffer Ahlqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rimbo FK and the Vegas Grappar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Rimbo FK got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Ahlqvist. In the 42nd minute of the match Sven Söderberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilano Loiola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilhelm Kaxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vegas Grappar's Atilano Loiola got control of the ball when Gösta Eckegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 52 played minutes Vegas Grappar got a freekick which was hit by Per Lind. 62 minutes in the game Mårten Duset did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bertil Berg. When Edvin Sjödin fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vegas Grappar's protests and gave Edvin Sjödin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Edvin Sjödin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Eckegren got free with Atilano Loiola in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Kaxe in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Hellgren saved Rimbo FK from getting behind. Kristian Hellgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vegas Grappar. Atilano Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Berg in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rimbo FK's Sven Söderberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. Gösta Eckegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Atilano Loiola made a huge save. In the 88th match minute, Vegas Grappar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Stabbe to maneuver through the defense. In the 90thth minute of the game Vilhelm Kaxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rimbo FK's Kristian Hellgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bertil Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gösta Eckegren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 94th playminute. Rimbo FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
