Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Hakkas's Lars Lindberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes in the game, Lars Lindberg dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lars Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Västlund having to interfere. Kaj Ekeberg made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Herbert Lindberg immediately put the ball in play. Andreas Löv kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Krister Wallman managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Fredrik Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Olov Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Boddingtons FC's Kaj Ekeberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes, Hakkas's Christian Trulsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Västlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hakkas reached it. When Olov Axelsson fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boddingtons FC's protests and gave Olov Axelsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hakkas booed when Boddingtons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Wassenius in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Boddingtons FC defense, Bengt-Rune Wassenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Västlund. The Boddingtons FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Västlund should have stopped the shot. Krister Wallman made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andreas Jonsson. George Västlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Wassenius's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Wassenius during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bengt-Rune Wassenius hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Bengt-Rune Wassenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Västlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. George Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Lindberg in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, Hakkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Trulsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Herbert Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boddingtons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Västlund was a little too slow when Bengt-Rune Wassenius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Wassenius in the 68th minute of play forced Boddingtons FC's goalkeeper George Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Wassenius in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Västlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. George Västlund had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bengt-Rune Wassenius from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Lars Lindberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but George Västlund firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute Bengt-Rune Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Västlund came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Hakkas's Lars Lindberg. But to his dismay, Lars Lindberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Boddingtons FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hakkas:s goal. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Hakkas. Christian Trulsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving George Västlund. 0-4.
