The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes in the game, Axel Kiempe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carl Tönnberg having to interfere. Klövsjö IF's Karl-Johan Abrahamsson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Jakobsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Strömqvist went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Klövsjö IF's Mats Nordkvist in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moliden's goalie prevented a goal. If Jan Strömqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moliden's Fred Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Strömqvist in the 33rd minute of play. Nils Håkansson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jan Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fred Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Klövsjö IF got a freekick which was hit by Robert Gunnarsson. When Jan Strömqvist came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Klövsjö IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Strömqvist couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Österberg to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Jan Strömqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moliden's Fred Jakobsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Johan Abrahamsson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Jakobsson. Fred Jakobsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Valter Dahlberg's late challenge caught a Moliden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valter Dahlberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Klövsjö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Klövsjö IF's goalkeeper Carl Tönnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Klövsjö IF's Jan Strömqvist was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Klövsjö IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Strömqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th match minute, Klövsjö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Johan Abrahamsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Jakobsson having to make a save. Fred Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Strömqvist in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Mikael Wallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moliden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klövsjö IF the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Moliden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Wallin to maneuver through the defense. If Mats Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Strömqvist in the 87th minute of play forced Moliden's goalkeeper Fred Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Moliden fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Klövsjö IF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
