Edwin Biörkman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Carl Tönnberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Anyang were furious when Douglas Fogel was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Christian Ekblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nordkvist in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Klövsjö IF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mats Nordkvist hit a great ball. After the first half Klövsjö IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Holm made a kick off. George Löfgren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Ekblom firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Klövsjö IF's Mats Nordkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Ekblom. That made the score 1-4 after 70 minutes of play. The supporters of FC Anyang booed when Klövsjö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Nordkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Ekblom was a little too slow when Mats Nordkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-5. Hans Holm struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carl Tönnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Anyang. The Klövsjö IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
