Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Verner Hedvall took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fredrik Emander's late challenge caught a Latikberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Emander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Latikberg booed when Vallsta IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Emander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Vallsta IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Walmarsson to maneuver through the defense. Manfred Ek didn't quite understand what happened when in the 12 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Greger Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Adrian Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Ekström in the 17th minute of play. Manfred Ek hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Vallsta IK's Jonny Pihlwall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Asplund. Mats Asplund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 27 minutes, Arne Stenquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latikberg and the Vallsta IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kennet Walmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Verner Hedvall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Latikberg's Mats Asplund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pär Östman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Mats Asplund made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Greger Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vallsta IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 40th minute, Vallsta IK's Verner Hedvall ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Asplund. Mats Asplund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Sven-Arne Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Ekström made a kick off. When Eric Vallgren came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Latikberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Vallgren couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd match minute, Latikberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Ekström to maneuver through the defense. When Fredrik Emander was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. In the 56th minute, Fredrik Emander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Latikberg defense, Vidar Tunberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Asplund. The Latikberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Asplund should have stopped the shot. Eric Vallgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Lund having to make a save. Eric Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mats Asplund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greger Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mats Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Hedvall in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Östman in the 89th minute of play forced Latikberg's goalkeeper Mats Asplund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Ek hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vallsta IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Latikberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
