Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Wahlström started the match with the kick off. Anton Ek took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Wall. Ralf Wall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Vidar Stephansson made a precise shot to the right of Ralf Wall. Hjälshammar if's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Jonas Wahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Österfärnebo IK's Frans Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Linqvist in the 18th minute of play. Sören Linqvist hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Stephansson in the 22nd minute of play forced Hjälshammar if's goalkeeper Ralf Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Linqvist in the 23rd minute of play forced Österfärnebo IK's goalkeeper Frans Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vidar Stephansson scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Wall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Hjälshammar if's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Rosendahl came free, but Ralf Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Löfkvist took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Wall. Ralf Wall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ralf Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Andreasson in the 43rd minute of play. Hjälshammar if's Ralf Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Rosendahl in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Hjälshammar if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Malmström to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Österfärnebo IK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vidar Stephansson to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jonas Wahlström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hjälshammar if fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After 56 minutes, Rudolf Andreasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Österfärnebo IK and the Hjälshammar if players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hjälshammar if booed when Österfärnebo IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Hjälshammar if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Malmström to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Anton Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frans Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Wahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Wahlström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frans Bäckström having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Hjälshammar if's goal looked a bit too open when Nicklas Kristiansson came free, but Ralf Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frans Bäckström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sören Linqvist went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Hjälshammar if's Federico Di Rado got a free kick in the 75th minute. Roy Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Ralf Wall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 81 minutes into the game, Anton Ek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ralf Wall. Anton Ek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. In the 84th minute Jonas Wahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Di Rado hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Hjälshammar if's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vidar Stephansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Hjälshammar if's Ralf Wall got control of the ball when Bengt-Åke Rosendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Österfärnebo IK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hjälshammar if throughout the match.
