Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Greger Nilsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Överlida's Bernt Julin. Bernt Julin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stig Tunander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Lund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Stig Tunander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Verner Hedvall notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Överlida's Bernt Julin. Bernt Julin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Greger Nilsson fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vallsta IK's protests and gave Greger Nilsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Vallsta IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Stig Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Överlida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Tunander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Verner Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Per Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Överlida and the Vallsta IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Överlida's Per Jonasson got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bernt Julin came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Vallsta IK's Verner Hedvall. But to his dismay, Verner Hedvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 41 minutes into the game, Pär Östman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bernt Julin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernt Julin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Hedvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Vallsta IK were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 60th minute, Stig Tunander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Överlida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After having played for 64 minutes, Pär Östman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallsta IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pär Östman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Magnus Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Lund having to interfere. Pär Östman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bernt Julin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verner Hedvall was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Vallsta IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fredrik Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Julin having to interfere. If Jens-Erik Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Magnus Kilman struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adrian Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Överlida. Joacim Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Vallsta IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Åberg to maneuver through the defense.
