The supporters of Latikberg booed when FC Snow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Hedbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Latikberg got a freekick which was hit by Erland Ekström. In the 17th minute, Manfred Ek made a precise shot to the right of Claes Lundberg. FC Snow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Claes Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Ekström in the 22nd minute of play. If Eric Vallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Knut Telin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Snow and the Latikberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Snow getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Knut Telin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Snow's zone, Arne Stenquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Lundberg came out of the goal and Arne Stenquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Snow's Knut Telin got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Erland Ekström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Snow's Claes Lundberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Säv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Claes Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes FC Snow got a freekick which was hit by Holger Norberg.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erland Ekström to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Benjamin Säv in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Snow's Vincent Sandström. The audience was convinced that Hans Dahlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mats Asplund was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Erland Ekströms short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Claes Lundberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Vallgren couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Erland Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Lundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Latikberg's Felix Stenman got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Claes Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Latikberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
