With a little luck, Österfärnebo IK's Frans Bäckström got control of the ball when Stelian Jugănaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Falck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Frans Bäckström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vidar Stephansson took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Ekberg. Alfons Ekberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Rosendahl in the 17th minute of play forced Selånger FK's goalkeeper Alfons Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Jugănaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Alfons Ekberg came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Österfärnebo IK's Vidar Stephansson. But to his dismay, Vidar Stephansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gottfrid Andreasson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Alfons Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Selånger FK's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Ek came free, but Alfons Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Österfärnebo IK's goalkeeper Frans Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Falck. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Herbert Löfkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Österfärnebo IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Löfkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Ekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Herbert Löfkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Jugănaru did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Frans Bäckström 34 minutes into the match. Åke Falck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Bäckström having to interfere. Anton Ek's late challenge caught a Selånger FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Ek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Anton Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erland Nyman charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erland Nyman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Selånger FK's Erland Nyman got a free kick in the 39th minute. Selånger FK's Alfons Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Stephansson in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Österfärnebo IK's goalkeeper Frans Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Falck. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Falck got free with Frans Bäckström in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The wind increased when Vidar Stephansson made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Vidar Stephansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alfons Ekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54th minute Vidar Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Alfons Ekberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Åke Rosendahl got free with Alfons Ekberg in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Löfkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Erland Nyman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Vidar Stephansson struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Alfons Ekberg came out of the goal and Herbert Löfkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bengt-Åke Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selånger FK's Alfons Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Ek in the 89th minute of play. Österfärnebo IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
