The Selånger FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfons Ekberg should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Vallsta IK's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Jugănaru came free, but Adrian Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Hedvall in the 18th minute of the match. Alfons Ekberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greger Nilsson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Vallsta IK's Verner Hedvall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Ekberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a little luck, Vallsta IK's Adrian Lund got control of the ball when Åke Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vallsta IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Åke Falck scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Lund, making the score, 2-3. In the 29th minute Greger Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Erland Nyman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vallsta IK's Adrian Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Jugănaru in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Jonny Pihlwall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Ekberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The wind increased when Åke Falck made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Greger Nilsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alfons Ekberg having to interfere. With a little luck, Selånger FK's Alfons Ekberg got control of the ball when Vidar Tunberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Verner Hedvall fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Falck in the 63rd minute of play forced Vallsta IK's goalkeeper Adrian Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
