Björn Salqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Ove Back. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Salqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Marcus Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Ove Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Björn Salqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hässelby BK's Leif Ekegren got a free kick in the 13th minute. Peter Hellgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Hässelby BK got a freekick which was hit by Ola Snell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Glad in the 19th minute of play forced Hässelby BK's goalkeeper Olov Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Göran Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olov Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Lock Stock FF's Mikael Håkansson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Göran Lind left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lock Stock FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Olov Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Glad in the 41st minute of play. Hässelby BK's Björn Salqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jakob Hök managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hässelby BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Hök was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Back breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes, Peter Hellgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lock Stock FF and the Hässelby BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Lock Stock FF's zone, Jakob Hök stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Back came out of the goal and Jakob Hök tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Glad was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Tomas Glad made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hässelby BK's Olov Brolin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Göran Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Hässelby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Hök to maneuver through the defense. Olov Brolin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tomas Glad sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Lock Stock FF's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Salqvist came free, but Jan-Ove Back reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Marcus Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hässelby BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakob Hök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Back having to interfere. When Jakob Hök came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Hässelby BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Hök couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Hässelby BK's Olov Brolin got control of the ball when Tomas Glad tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lock Stock FF's zone, Björn Salqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Back came out of the goal and Björn Salqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hässelby BK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
