Väderstad's Patrik Alebom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Väderstad from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Väderstad's goalkeeper Patrik Alebom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakob Hök. Olov Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Sundberg in the 9th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Hässelby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Snell to maneuver through the defense. If Per Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Isaksson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olov Brolin saved Hässelby BK from getting behind. 15 minutes into the game, Väderstad's Per Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Brolin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Sundberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Hässelby BK's goalkeeper Olov Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Hök's late challenge caught a Väderstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakob Hök helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hässelby BK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jakob Hök hit a great ball. Olov Brolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Hässelby BK got a freekick which was hit by Magne Ekeberg. In the 37th minute Marcus Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Väderstad's Patrik Alebom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Väderstad from getting a goal against them. Olov Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Sundberg in the 41st minute of the match. Jakob Hök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Sundberg in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Väderstad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Hässelby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Giliusson to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Alebom came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Hässelby BK's Marcus Nyberg. But to his dismay, Marcus Nyberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hässelby BK's Jakob Hök got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Per Sundberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Olov Brolin to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute, Dag Isaksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olov Brolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Sundberg in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Erik Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Alebom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Snell went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 80 played minutes Dag Isaksson rounded Hässelby BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Olov Brolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Per Sundberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Olov Brolin however easily saved by the left post. Jakob Hök struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Patrik Alebom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hässelby BK. In the 95th match minute, Väderstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Dahlqvist to maneuver through the defense.
