In the 8th minute, BK Tåfjutt's Alf Galle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robert Nyberg. Robert Nyberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 14th minute Vilhelm Carlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Sandberg got free with Robert Nyberg in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jörgen Boklund came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Södra Sandby IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Boklund couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Viktor Göransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Tåfjutt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södra Sandby IK the free kick. Robert Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Carlberg in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Södra Sandby IK's Adam Vesterberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Staffan Berglund charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Staffan Berglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in BK Tåfjutt's zone, Jörgen Boklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Mager came out of the goal and Jörgen Boklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Södra Sandby IK's goalkeeper Robert Nyberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Sandberg. Robert Nyberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Sandberg in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Jörgen Boklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Mager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, BK Tåfjutt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Duset to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Vallander was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Södra Sandby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Sandberg came free, but Robert Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Åhman charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludwig Åhman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Södra Sandby IK's Ludwig Åhman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Södra Sandby IK's Jörgen Boklund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Mager narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Carlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jörgen Boklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Mager. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörgen Boklund ran back to his position shaking his head. After 72 played minutes Södra Sandby IK got a freekick which was hit by Adam Vesterberg. Kasper Hedling hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes, BK Tåfjutt's Jens-Ola Hjortberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert Nyberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BK Tåfjutt reached it. In the 96th minute, Nils-Åke Vallander made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Mager. BK Tåfjutt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BK Tåfjutt fully deserved thier win.
