The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Alexander Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Thieluista Stegel's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Sandwall came free, but Joseph Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Björling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Sandwall's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Jens-Erik Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Skog, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Jim Skog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Sandwall in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Björling saved Thieluista Stegel from getting behind. A collision led to Thieluista Stegel getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nils-Emil Anselius hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Thieluista Stegel's zone, Alexander Sandwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Björling came out of the goal and Alexander Sandwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jörgen Järnkrok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joseph Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Jim Skog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Thieluista Stegel's Erik Berglund got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Jörgen Järnkrok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Björling was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Alexander Sandwall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Joseph Björling successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Järnkrok to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on South Beach Gators FC's corner Dan Rosén fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joseph Björling quite easily take care of the ball. Eddie Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, South Beach Gators FC's Jörgen Järnkrok nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Björling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alexander Sandwall took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joseph Björling. Joseph Björling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, South Beach Gators FC's Alexander Sandwall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joseph Björling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, South Beach Gators FC's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Vikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Säfström. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvard Säfström got free with Jens-Erik Vikström in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joseph Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Sandwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Alexander Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Jim Skog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Vikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Vennerberg in the 96th minute of play forced Thieluista Stegel's goalkeeper Joseph Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that South Beach Gators FC were the better team. South Beach Gators FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
