Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 10) Per Söderqvist made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Leif Gråberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljugarn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Gråberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ólafur Fahlgren in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Söderqvist in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Malmström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bo-Erik Sigfridsson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Bo Axelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Axelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AS San Pellegrino getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bo Axelsson hit a great ball. Per Söderqvist kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot AS San Pellegrino's keeper Ingvar Malmström was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Leif Gråberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ingvar Malmström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Alex Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Malmström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Gråberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ingvar Malmström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leif Gråberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 36th minute, AS San Pellegrino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Per Söderqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ingvar Malmström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Gråberg in the 40th minute of the match. Ingvar Malmström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Söderqvist in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AS San Pellegrino's Frans Wållander got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ingvar Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Gråberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, AS San Pellegrino's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Gråberg came free, but Ingvar Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingvar Malmström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Gråberg in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of AS San Pellegrino booed when Ljugarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ólafur Fahlgren's late challenge caught a AS San Pellegrino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ólafur Fahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Ljugarn got a freekick which was hit by Ólafur Fahlgren. After 75 minutes of play, Ljugarn's Leif Gråberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Malmström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Ljugarn booed when AS San Pellegrino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ola Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingvar Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Per Söderqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljugarn's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Söderqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Malmström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AS San Pellegrino's Oscar Biörk got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ola Sundberg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. AS San Pellegrino's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
