Johnny Eriksson had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Michael Sjöö's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 91 minutes into the match, Michael Sjöö had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnny Eriksson. Malmvägen Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Sjöö was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 93 minutes into the game, Bo Axelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS San Pellegrino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmvägen Boys the free kick. In the 97th minute Bo Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded AS San Pellegrino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Malmvägen Boys.
