After 3 played minutes Österskär RK got a freekick which was hit by Sten Gustavsson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Staffan Törnblom in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Göransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Per Hedlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glenbuck Cherrypickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Österskär RK the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Glenbuck Cherrypickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Smed in the 17th minute of play forced Glenbuck Cherrypickers's goalkeeper Simon Gregersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Hedlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Törnblom in the 29th minute of play forced Österskär RK's goalkeeper Henry Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Per Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenbuck Cherrypickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Börje Johnsson lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Simon Gregersson. Simon Gregersson was a little too slow when Börje Johnsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Stig-Ove Lundqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Lundqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Glenbuck Cherrypickers booed when Österskär RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Ove Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Staffan Törnblom was the one to do the kick off. Torbjörn Smed charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Smed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Österskär RK's Torbjörn Smed got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Simon Gregersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Börje Johnsson sped through Glenbuck Cherrypickers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Gregersson. In the 77th minute Stig-Ove Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Gregersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Gregersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Börje Johnsson went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Börje Johnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Gregersson. Glenbuck Cherrypickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Johnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Thanks to some nice moves Staffan Törnblom could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Henry Göransson however easily saved by the left post. Henry Göransson came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Glenbuck Cherrypickers's Staffan Törnblom. But to his dismay, Staffan Törnblom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Österskär RK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
