Torsten Barck's late challenge caught a Gnarp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Barck helped the player get up and apologised. Torsten Barck hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Isaac Fors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Pihl was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Frans Norberg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Tomas Kolberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gnarp FF. In the 23rd match minute, Gnarp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Norberg to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Pååk in the 25th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Hammerdal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Åberg to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ralf Pihl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Tomas Kolberg managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Gnarp FF's Ivar Backlund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 43 played minutes Frans Norberg rounded Hammerdal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frans Norberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hammerdal's zone, Ivar Backlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Kolberg came out of the goal and Ivar Backlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the game, Gnarp FF's Ivar Backlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Kolberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Pååk got free with Ralf Pihl in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Gnarp FF booed when Hammerdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Pååk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gnarp FF's Ralf Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Fors in the 71st minute of play. Gnarp FF's Ralf Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Gnarp FF from getting a goal against them. After 84 played minutes Gnarp FF got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Hernström. 85 minutes into the match, Hammerdal's Bengt-Åke Mellberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fredrik Pååk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ralf Pihl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Ivar Backlund notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Hammerdal's Tomas Kolberg. Tomas Kolberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frans Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Kolberg having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hammerdal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gnarp FF.
