Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Djuuuuuu's Gunnar Kruuse started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnarp FF's goalkeeper Ralf Pihl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Ekrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Pihl having to interfere. FC Djuuuuuu's Yngve Mossberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Norberg in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Gnarp FF booed when FC Djuuuuuu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Frans Norberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Djuuuuuu's Yngve Mossberg. Yngve Mossberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yngve Mossberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Norberg's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. FC Djuuuuuu's Yngve Mossberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Norberg in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Ahlfors during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gnarp FF booed when FC Djuuuuuu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Ahlfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Michel Ekegren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yngve Mossberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Kruuse in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralf Pihl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yngve Mossberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Frans Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Mossberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Gnarp FF's Ivar Backlund made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yngve Mossberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frans Norberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Frans Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Mossberg having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Gnarp FF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Ingemarsson. Michel Ekegren charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Ekegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Gnarp FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Djuuuuuu:s goal. Rune Kihlberg walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 64th minute, Henrik Ingemarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Djuuuuuu's Gunnar Kruuse in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yngve Mossberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Norberg in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Gnarp FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Kruuse came free, but Ralf Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Kruuse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf Pihl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Dick Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Ekrot in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Pihl saved Gnarp FF from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Gnarp FF's Ivar Backlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Mossberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ralf Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Ekrot in the 84th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 97 minutes, Marcus Ekrot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Djuuuuuu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Ekrot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Gnarp FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gnarp FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
