Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börje Johnsson started the match with the kick off. Henry Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Backlund in the 5th minute of play. Henry Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Göransson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Stig-Ove Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Österskär RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Pihl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute of the match Alfred Odén sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Göransson skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Österskär RK's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Norberg came free, but Henry Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig-Ove Lundqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralf Pihl. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Österskär RK's Henry Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Backlund in the 23rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Börje Johnsson sped through Gnarp FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Pihl. In the 36th minute, Frans Norberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Österskär RK's Henry Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Norberg in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Johnsson in the 41st minute of play forced Gnarp FF's goalkeeper Ralf Pihl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Österskär RK's Stig-Ove Lundqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ralf Pihl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frans Norberg to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Sigvard Hök got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralf Pihl came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Österskär RK's Börje Johnsson. But to his dismay, Börje Johnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Johnsson in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralf Pihl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 67 minutes, Börje Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Österskär RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Börje Johnsson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Österskär RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Johnsson couldn't finish the play. Sigvard Hök kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Österskär RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Hök to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match, Frans Norberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henry Göransson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute, Börje Johnsson made a precise shot to the right of Ralf Pihl. Gnarp FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Henry Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Norberg in the 90th minute of the match. Gnarp FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
