The Glenbuck Cherrypickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Gregersson should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Glenbuck Cherrypickers's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Ekrot came free, but Simon Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Gregersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Ekrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Kruuse took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Gregersson. Simon Gregersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 19 played minutes Glenbuck Cherrypickers got a freekick which was hit by Einar Lundin. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marcus Ekrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Djuuuuuu's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Ekrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Gregersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 minutes of play, FC Djuuuuuu's Gunnar Kruuse made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Gregersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Gregersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Ekrot went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Simon Gregersson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Djuuuuuu's Marcus Ekrot. But to his dismay, Marcus Ekrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Simon Gregersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Ekrot in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Glenbuck Cherrypickers's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Vallgren came free, but Simon Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Vallgren in the 40th minute of play forced Glenbuck Cherrypickers's goalkeeper Simon Gregersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Marcus Ekrot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Gregersson. Glenbuck Cherrypickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Ekrot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Staffan Törnblom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yngve Mossberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Staffan Törnblom to make the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Glenbuck Cherrypickers's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Kruuse came free, but Simon Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Gregersson was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Gunnar Kruuse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Kruuse really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 71st minute of the match, Marcus Ekrot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simon Gregersson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 74 minutes, Sune Tönnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenbuck Cherrypickers and the FC Djuuuuuu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sune Tönnberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Simon Gregersson was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Gunnar Kruuse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Kruuse really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Henry Vallgren's late challenge caught a Glenbuck Cherrypickers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Vallgren helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Gregersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Kruuse in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Glenbuck Cherrypickers's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Kruuse came free, but Simon Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Sune Tönnberg put in a rough tackle. Magnus Majman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Simon Gregersson made a huge save. Simon Gregersson was a little too slow when Gunnar Kruuse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-10. FC Djuuuuuu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
