With 13 minutes on the clock, Sebastian Andreasson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Stefan Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Dahlgren in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Klågerup IK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Oscar Engström hit a great ball. Allan Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charles Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Anundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Inge Anundsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charles Engström, 1-1. Bertil Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Engström having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inge Anundsson made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Klågerup IK's Oscar Engström got a free kick in the 54th minute. Inge Anundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Anundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Charles Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Ove Kullander hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Allan Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dick Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Klågerup IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Alebom to maneuver through the defense. Klågerup IK's Charles Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Anundsson in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Inge Anundsson made a precise shot to the right of Charles Engström. Klågerup IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Dahlgren in the 83rd minute of play forced 1891 Djurgården's goalkeeper Stefan Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Anundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Engström having to interfere.
