When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Wilhelm Ek put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Charles Engström. In the 26thth minute of the game Wilhelm Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klågerup IK's Charles Engström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Conny Uggla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Engström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Ek made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Klågerup IK got a freekick which was hit by Valter Spets. If Wilhelm Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Klågerup IK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Sven-Ove Kullander hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Klågerup IK's Torsten Alebom got a free kick in the 60th minute. Wilhelm Eks short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Charles Engström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 66 in the game by Wilhelm Ek from a close distance when the talented Charles Engström managed to make a qualified save. Klågerup IK's players were relieved. After 73 minutes of play, Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Klågerup IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fagersta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
