The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charles Engström made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when David Brovall sent off a good shot on target. Klågerup IK's Charles Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Klågerup IK from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Kullander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klågerup IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AUDI R8 the free kick. In the 6th minute, Sven-Ove Kullander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, AUDI R8's Anders Wickander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Engström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. David Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Charles Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 14 in the game by David Brovall from a close distance when the talented Charles Engström managed to make a qualified save. Klågerup IK's players were relieved. When Osvald Ahlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the AUDI R8 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvald Ahlstedt couldn't finish the play. Osvald Ahlstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Beckman in the 27th minute of play forced Klågerup IK's goalkeeper Charles Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, AUDI R8 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. When Frank Pettersson fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AUDI R8's protests and gave Frank Pettersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, one of AUDI R8:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AUDI R8. Charles Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Beckman in the 46th minute of the match. Georg Algren struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Charles Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AUDI R8. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Dahlgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Klågerup IK's Sven-Ove Kullander got a free kick in the 51st minute. David Brovall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Rune Ekeberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Engström having to make a save. Bengt-Rune Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Charles Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Anders Wickander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 崔亦乐 came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the AUDI R8 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 崔亦乐 couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Ekeberg in the 61st minute of play forced Klågerup IK's goalkeeper Charles Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Algren in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Osvald Ahlstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AUDI R8's Georg Algren got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Remco La Rose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klågerup IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AUDI R8 the free kick. Anders Beckman's late challenge caught a Klågerup IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Beckman helped the player get up and apologised. Osvald Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Engström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Ekeberg in the 75th minute of play forced Klågerup IK's goalkeeper Charles Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When AUDI R8's Christian Hellsing in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Klågerup IK's goalie prevented a goal. Torsten Alebom hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Charles Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Hellsing's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Anders Wickander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 4-1 when David Brovall sped through Klågerup IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Engström. Georg Algren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Charles Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Anders Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Christian Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AUDI R8 and the Klågerup IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in AUDI R8 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! AUDI R8:s Staffan Drewitz showed great skill when he stopped Mattias Örnberg:s penalty. 96 minutes into the match, Bengt-Rune Ekeberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Engström. Klågerup IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Rune Ekeberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. There was no doubt that AUDI R8 were the better team. AUDI R8's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
