Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Sălcudeanu started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in 1891 Djurgården fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Fagersta getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Evert Kvalfält hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Ek in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Björk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Öberg took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Björk. Stefan Björk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 1891 Djurgården! The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Ek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Björk was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Jonas Öberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Björk. 1891 Djurgården's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Öberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Jonas Öberg took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Björk. Stefan Björk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Uno Bjurström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The 1891 Djurgården players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fagersta were winning 0-8.

The wind increased when Wilhelm Ek made the kick off in the second half. 1891 Djurgården's Stefan Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Ek in the 51st minute of play. If Ulf Aleberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Ek had several of the 1891 Djurgården's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Stefan Björk as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Conny Uggla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Uggla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Björk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1891 Djurgården's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Conny Uggla notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of 1891 Djurgården's Stefan Björk. Stefan Björk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the 1891 Djurgården defense, Ulf Aleberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Björk. The 1891 Djurgården fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Björk should have stopped the shot. Wilhelm Ek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Stefan Björk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 73rd minute, Jonas Öberg made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Björk. 1891 Djurgården's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Wilhelm Eks short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Stefan Björk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Jonas Öberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fagersta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. When Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1891 Djurgården's goalie prevented a goal. With splendid footwork Wilhelm Ek arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-14 by the left pole in the game's 89th minute. Uno Bjurström struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Stefan Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fagersta. Stefan Björk came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fagersta's Sven-Arne Lundström. But to his dismay, Sven-Arne Lundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. When the match was over Fagersta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 1891 Djurgården throughout the match.
