In the 9thth minute of the game Mattias Eriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Preben Bois's Oskar Berggren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oskar Berggren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Eriksson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Eriksson in the 17th minute of play forced Preben Bois's goalkeeper Oskar Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Eriksson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Berggren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Aznar got free with Oskar Berggren in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oskar Berggren stood somewhat misplaced when Mattias Eriksson came free in front of goal and shot 0-18 to the left of him in the 89 minute. When Malmö FF's Mattias Eriksson in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preben Bois's goalie prevented a goal. Malmö FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
