Johan Dahlquist started the match with the kick off. Oskar Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Blom in the 5th minute of the match. Oskar Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Blom in the 8th minute of play. Johan Dahlquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Otto Blom notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Preben Bois's Oskar Berggren. Oskar Berggren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd match minute, Loverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Browald to maneuver through the defense. Johan Dahlquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans Pettersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Dahlquist ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Preben Bois getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Per-Åke Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Stefan Kilberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Preben Bois booed when Loverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Browald didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Blom in the 46th minute of play forced Preben Bois's goalkeeper Oskar Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Loverpool were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per Askberg to make the kick off. Marcus Målare kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Johan Dahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hans Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Loverpool booed when Preben Bois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsene Lupin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Blom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oskar Berggren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Oskar Berggren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Blom in the 79th minute. Oskar Berggren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per Askberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 88 minute of play. Loverpool's Folke Hultman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oskar Berggren but with some difficulty. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Loverpool walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
