Karl-Erik Bollström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charles Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Bollström having to interfere. Piteå IF's Karl-Erik Bollström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Piteå IF from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Charles Colin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karl-Erik Bollström was a little too slow when Charles Colin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Colin made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Charles Colin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Erik Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Colin in the 59th minute of the match. When Karl-Johan Tinglöv came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Piteå IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Johan Tinglöv couldn't finish the play. Charles Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Bollström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Classon in the 77th minute of the match. Piteå IF's Karl-Erik Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Colin in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmie Engström during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Mongols's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
