Claes Alrot started the match with the kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Gunnar Asklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borgafjället's Ralf Dahlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils Stål scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralf Dahlgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Gunnar Asklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Det är baaarn! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ralf Almstedt sped through Borgafjället's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Dahlgren. 21 minutes into the match, Gunnar Asklund notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Borgafjället's Ralf Dahlgren. Ralf Dahlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th match minute, Borgafjället was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Wallman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Almstedt in the 30th minute of play forced Borgafjället's goalkeeper Ralf Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Wallman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgafjället's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Det är baaarn! the free kick. The supporters of Det är baaarn! booed when Borgafjället was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Wallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Gunnar Asklund made a precise shot to the right of Ralf Dahlgren. Borgafjället's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Ralf Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Almstedt in the 43rd minute of the match. Borgafjället were furious when Arne Wallin was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Det är baaarn! a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ralf Almstedt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Borgafjället's Ralf Dahlgren. 0-8. The Borgafjället players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Det är baaarn! were winning 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Almstedt was the one to do the kick off. Ralf Dahlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Det är baaarn!'s Ralf Almstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Dahlgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. After having played for 64 minutes, Gunnar Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Det är baaarn!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 67 in the game by Ralf Almstedt from a close distance when the talented Ralf Dahlgren managed to make a qualified save. Borgafjället's players were relieved. Alfred Norberg made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Borgafjället's Jonatan Hamberg. In the 70th minute, Per-Åke Wallman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orvar Österlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. Ralf Dahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Asklund's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Det är baaarn! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Almstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ralf Dahlgren made a huge save. After 83 minutes of play, Det är baaarn!'s Ralf Almstedt made it 1-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Dahlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Asklund in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Dahlgren saved Borgafjället from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Alfred Norberg in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Borgafjället's Per-Åke Wallman. Borgafjället's Ralf Dahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Borgafjället from getting a goal against them. Det är baaarn!'s Gunnar Asklund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Det är baaarn!'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
