Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Erserman started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, fakatax's Håkan Wallin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jon Matsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute Håkan Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of fakatax booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, fakatax's Esbjörn Johnsson got control of the ball when Jonas Erserman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Håkan Wallin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jon Matsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 29th minute Håkan Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonas Erserman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Grep was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in fakatax fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Esbjörn Johnsson, was totally fooled by Nykvarn's Malte Månsson, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. fakatax's Jörgen Kjellkvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alf Jönsson, made in the 39th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Henry Lidberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nykvarn's Jens-Ove Holmberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esbjörn Johnsson. That made the score 2-2 after 45 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Wallin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jonas Erserman came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Nykvarn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Erserman couldn't finish the play. Jonas Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Johnsson having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, fakatax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Lidberg to maneuver through the defense. Esbjörn Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Erserman in the 66th minute of play. Esbjörn Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Erserman in the 68th minute of the match. Johnny Blomqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Blomqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 minutes of play Nykvarn's Malte Månsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Esbjörn Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Hermansson in the 75th minute of the match. Esbjörn Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Dusett in the 78th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Erserman to maneuver through the defense.
