If Sandu Taşcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mölndal's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Browald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Anton Apelkvist took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Bengt-Arne Browald to make any attempt to save it. Bengt-Arne Browald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Taşcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 0-9 became the score in the 72nd minute when Sandu Taşcă elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ideela Pirater left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mölndal.
