Tage Säf was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Ludwig Ström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludwig Ström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Munktorp's Tage Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Öfverman in the 5th minute of play. Tage Säf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marc Öfverman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ludwig Ström could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Tage Säf however easily saved by the left post. Leonardo Melberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Tage Säf made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Marc Öfverman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tage Säf was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 20th minute, Kim Askberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Leeds United FC's Ludwig Ström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tage Säf. Tage Säf yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Ström got free with Tage Säf in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Melberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Tage Säf 31 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Melberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tage Säf was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Leonardo Melberg in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tage Säf, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ludwig Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tage Säf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludwig Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Tage Säf managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Leeds United FC's Leonardo Melberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonardo Melbergs short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Tage Säf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otto Vennerlund to make the kick off. Ludwig Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Säf having to interfere. When Leeds United FC's Leonardo Melberg in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Munktorp's goalie prevented a goal. Tage Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Munktorp defense, Marc Öfverman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tage Säf. The Munktorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tage Säf should have stopped the shot. After 68 played minutes Munktorp got a freekick which was hit by Kim Askberg. After having played for 69 minutes, Börje Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Lindsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leonardo Melberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tage Säf was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Leeds United FC's Ludwig Ström in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Munktorp's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Leonardo Melberg put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tage Säf. Ludwig Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Melberg in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tage Säf saved Munktorp from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per Matsson came free, but Dan Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uno Fransson fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munktorp's protests and gave Uno Fransson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Munktorp getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Uno Fransson hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Leonardo Melberg sped through Munktorp's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tage Säf. Ludwig Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Säf having to interfere. Munktorp's Kim Askberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Kim Askberg off the ground. Kim Askberg hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leeds United FC had played much better football throughout.
