After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Edmund Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stångby BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elof Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dag Wennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Bergqvist having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Toon Army's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Wennersten came free, but Elof Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Danielsson in the 7th minute of play forced Toon Army's goalkeeper Elof Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elof Bergqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Stångby BK's Edmund Danielsson managed to work through Toon Army's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edmund Danielsson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edmund Danielsson sped through Toon Army's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elof Bergqvist. Elof Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Danielsson in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Toon Army booed when Stångby BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Wennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Toon Army's zone, Egil Colin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Bergqvist came out of the goal and Egil Colin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernt Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernt Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Edmund Danielsson spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Toon Army's goal. Elof Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Colin in the 46th minute of the match. When Stångby BK's Edmund Danielsson in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toon Army's goalie prevented a goal. The Toon Army players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stångby BK were winning 0-2.

Elof Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Colin in the 55th minute. Elof Bergqvist was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Edmund Danielsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmund Danielsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Stångby BK's Edmund Danielsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elof Bergqvist. That made the score 0-5 after 64 minutes of play. A collision led to Stångby BK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Egil Colin hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Stångby BK's Rasmus Hellström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elof Bergqvist. That made the score 0-7 after 72 minutes of play. Elof Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Danielsson in the 80th minute of play. Egil Colin had several of the Toon Army's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Elof Bergqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Egil Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stångby BK's Edmund Danielsson in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toon Army's goalie prevented a goal. Elof Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Stångby BK's Egil Colin. But to his dismay, Egil Colin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. In the 90thth minute of the game Edmund Danielsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toon Army's Elof Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Dennis Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Danielsson in the 95th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Wennersten got free with Elof Bergqvist in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stångby BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
