The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, The Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Aspengren to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Marcus Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RealMadrid's Dick Dahlbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save RealMadrid from getting a goal against them. Marcus Ek took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dick Dahlbom. Dick Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zebastian Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Klementsson having to interfere. Ralf Klementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemanja Knežević in the 14th minute of play. RealMadrid's Dick Dahlbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save RealMadrid from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Torsten Ekerot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dick Dahlbom, 2-0. Karl Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joakim Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dick Dahlbom was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Torsten Ekerot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torsten Ekerot really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Marcus Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Black StarZ's Ralf Klementsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemanja Knežević in the 37th minute of play. Karl Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dick Dahlbom made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, The Black StarZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Hammarbäck came free, but Ralf Klementsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Ek was the one to do the kick off. Dick Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Fransson in the 53rd minute of the match. RealMadrid's Dick Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Ek in the 56th minute of play. If Karl Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Marcus Ek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dick Dahlbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 72nd match minute, The Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Kiempe to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, RealMadrid's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Ek came free, but Dick Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Aspengren in the 75th minute of play. Ralf Klementsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemanja Knežević, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Aspengren in the 79th minute of play forced RealMadrid's goalkeeper Dick Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Klementsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemanja Knežević in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Nemanja Knežević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zebastian Hammarbäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ralf Klementsson made a huge save. In the 87th play minute Zebastian Hammarbäck came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ralf Klementsson. 7-1. 93 minutes into the game, Karl Fransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Dick Dahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralf Klementsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemanja Knežević, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
