Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bo Tinglöv started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ingvar Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Nyman during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Hjortkvarn got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Nyman. In the 9th minute, Tom Unesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Hjortkvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Kuse to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Jan Åberg managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when The B-Team's Bo Tinglöv fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Nykvist in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Nykvist in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Åberg saved Hjortkvarn from getting behind. Jan Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Tinglöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Johannes Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Kristoffer Brander from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Jan Åberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Tinglöv in the 36th minute of play forced Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Jan Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Tinglöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The B-Team's Kåre Nykvist got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Hans Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The B-Team and the Hjortkvarn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The B-Team's Hans Nilsson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jan Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Tinglöv in the 46th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bo Tinglöv's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Åberg was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albin Kuse to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hjortkvarn booed when The B-Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Tinglöv in the 57th minute of play forced Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Jan Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Tinglöv in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Bo Tinglöv made a precise shot to the right of Jan Åberg. Hjortkvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Tom Unesson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Unesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The B-Team booed when Hjortkvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Unesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristoffer Brander, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 80th minute, Hans Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Tinglöv in the 84th minute of play forced Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Jan Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Hellström's late challenge caught a Hjortkvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Hellström helped the player get up and apologised. Ingvar Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The B-Team's Joseph Bank was substituted for Bertil Wennerquist. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hjortkvarn players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The B-Team.
