After the first half Harmless Newbies were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Arne Hermansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göran Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Harmless Newbies booed when Dala-Husby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dala-Husby's zone, Sven-Arne Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Arvidsson came out of the goal and Sven-Arne Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Kaxe in the 70th minute of play. Ingvar Pil hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Luar Darripe fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dala-Husby's protests and gave Luar Darripe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Dala-Husby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luar Darripe to maneuver through the defense. Harmless Newbies's Leonardo Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Kaxe in the 86th minute of play. Karl-Michael Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Allan Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Simon Njurenius sent off a good shot on target. Dala-Husby's Elliott Ahlbom got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
