The supporters of Stora Enso Legends booed when Harmless Newbies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Njurenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Harmless Newbies's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Vase came free, but Leonardo Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Stora Enso Legends's Kent Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 19th minute, Per-Åke Åkerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stora Enso Legends fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Ian Täman might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Åkesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Täman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Täman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leonardo Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Harmless Newbies's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Fransson came free, but Leonardo Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Åke Åkerman was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kent Fransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Åkesson was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Harmless Newbies's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sakarias Vase fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Osvald Mårtensson came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Stora Enso Legends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvald Mårtensson couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Åke Åkerman in the 64th minute. Harmless Newbies's Leonardo Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Fransson in the 68th minute of play. Kent Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leonardo Åkesson made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Dick Ahlström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harmless Newbies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stora Enso Legends the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Harmless Newbies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. Per-Åke Åkerman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonardo Åkesson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kent Fransson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 72 minute of play. A hard shot 75 in the game by Per-Åke Åkerman from a close distance when the talented Leonardo Åkesson managed to make a qualified save. Harmless Newbies's players were relieved. With his leg Leonardo Åkesson managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Stora Enso Legends's Per-Åke Åkerman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osvald Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Harmless Newbies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvald Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. 84 minutes into the match, Kent Fransson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonardo Åkesson, 0-12. 87 minutes into the match, Kent Fransson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Åkesson. Harmless Newbies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kent Fransson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. Leonardo Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Fransson in the 90th minute of the match. If Per-Åke Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Fransson in the 95th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Åke Åkerman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Åkesson saved Harmless Newbies from getting behind. Stora Enso Legends's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
