Emil Stenquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Alvins grisgäng getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. In the 28th match minute, Kvänum IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Kilstedt to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malte Valrot got free with Emil Stenquist in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emil Stenquist had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Martin Artal from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 44 played minutes, Kvänum IF's Peder Galle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jedrzej Ruszczyk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kvänum IF reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Västlund to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Christian Offendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kvänum IF's Emil Stenquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Alvins grisgäng's Sven-Arne Larsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Alvins grisgäng's Martin Artal in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute, Malte Valrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Artal in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Stenquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Elias Västlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Stenquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Martin Artal sped through Kvänum IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emil Stenquist. Emil Stenquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Hybbert in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kvänum IF's Claes Kilstedt got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Alvins grisgäng players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
