Fools Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Jan-Erik Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sven-Oskar Smed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gräddhyllan BK's Leo Dalgren got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christer Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Boris Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Asmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Fools Academy's Ian Mellbad got a free kick in the 29th minute. Boris Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Tomasson in the 34th minute of the match. When Leo Dalgren came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gräddhyllan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Dalgren couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingmar Ahlrot got free with Sven-Oskar Smed in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Leo Dalgren made a precise shot to the right of Boris Wiklund. Fools Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Gräddhyllan BK's Sven-Oskar Smed got control of the ball when Ingmar Ahlrot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gräddhyllan BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fools Academy the free kick. Sven-Oskar Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Axelsson in the 62nd minute of play. Jesper Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Wiklund having to interfere. Leo Dalgren in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boris Wiklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Fools Academy's Boris Wiklund got control of the ball when Harry Berg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Leo Dalgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boris Wiklund. Gräddhyllan BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Asmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Wiklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Erik Drewitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
