The referee ignored Hobbyplan IF's protests and gave Herbert Lindholm a yellow card for diving instead. Herbert Lindholm hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hobbyplan IF's Per Fransson got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Going Toulouse getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Osvald Nordlander hit a great ball. Leonard Algren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Giöck, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Sebastian Falck fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Going Toulouse's protests and gave Sebastian Falck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Going Toulouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Falck to maneuver through the defense. John Offendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Going Toulouse booed when Hobbyplan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When John Offendahl came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Going Toulouse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Offendahl couldn't finish the play. If John Offendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Offendahl to make the kick off. When Going Toulouse's John Offendahl in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Offendahl got free with Hjalmar Hedvall in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hobbyplan IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Going Toulouse had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
