Hjalmar Hedvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Örnberg in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Stefan Grubb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Hedvall. Hobbyplan IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Grubb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Staffan Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Hedvall having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Tage Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hjalmar Hedvall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Tage Svensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Hedvall. Hobbyplan IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tage Svensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erland Hegg made a kick off. Erland Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Isaksson during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Viskafors RK booed when Hobbyplan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Staffan Örnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viskafors RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Staffan Örnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Hedvall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Staffan Örnberg made a precise shot to the right of Hjalmar Hedvall. Hobbyplan IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Hobbyplan IF's Hjalmar Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Örnberg in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hobbyplan IF defense, Tage Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hjalmar Hedvall. The Hobbyplan IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hjalmar Hedvall should have stopped the shot. Hjalmar Hedvall made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Tage Svensson sent off a good shot on target. Hjalmar Hedvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Örnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute of the match, Dick Söderlund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hjalmar Hedvall was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Hjalmar Hedvall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hobbyplan IF's Hjalmar Hedvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Hobbyplan IF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Dick Söderlund could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Hjalmar Hedvall however easily saved by the left post. In the 91st minute, Erland Hegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Tage Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viskafors RK played a much better game than Hobbyplan IF and deserved their victory. The Hobbyplan IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
