Christer Säfström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Gustavsson made a huge save. 6 minutes in the game, Cristian Barros fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sven-Olof Gustavsson having to interfere. If Christer Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Barros in the 11th minute of play. Christer Säfström made a great header on Redskins Hk's corner, it was just that StarFC's Sven-Olof Gustavsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Sven-Olof Gustavsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Redskins Hk's Christer Säfström shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 19th minute, Christer Säfström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Olof Gustavsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Henrik Kalfhage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christer Säfström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Barros in the 26th minute of play. Christer Säfström might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christer Säfström ran back to his position shaking his head. Pål Nilsson took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Kalfhage. Henrik Kalfhage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Christer Säfström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Olof Gustavsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Cristian Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Olof Gustavsson. Cristian Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, StarFC's Pål Nilsson got a free kick in the 38th minute. Pål Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Pål Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Kalfhage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christer Säfström in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Gustavsson saved StarFC from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Kurt Pilblad notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Redskins Hk's Henrik Kalfhage. Henrik Kalfhage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christer Säfström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Cristian Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Barros scored 4-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the StarFC defense, Cristian Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Olof Gustavsson. The StarFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Olof Gustavsson should have stopped the shot. Christer Säfström scored 6-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Redskins Hk's Cristian Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Olof Gustavsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Cristian Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redskins Hk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Gustavsson having to interfere. Sven-Olof Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Säfström, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Christer Säfström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sven-Olof Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Redskins Hk were the better team. Redskins Hk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
