Spectators: 7397 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Håkan Grelsson made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrik Lindberg during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrik Lindberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Johannes Lindkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boda's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Lindkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calle Sandberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Daniel Kleen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Lindberg in the 20th minute of play forced Boda's goalkeeper Hubert Broberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Lindkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Eliasson having to interfere. Jon Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Broberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Kleen in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gröstorp IF's zone, Johannes Lindkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Eliasson came out of the goal and Johannes Lindkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingemar Karlsson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Johannes Lindkvist made the kick off in the second half. Johannes Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jon Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Eliasson having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Johannes Lindkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Lindkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Gröstorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Calle Sandberg. Gröstorp IF's Jon Eliasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Gröstorp IF from getting a goal against them. After 71 played minutes Boda got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Kielstedt. Gröstorp IF's Nils-Erik Fågel took a good shot, in the 72nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Hubert Broberg's head, and flew over the goal. Boda's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Gröstorp IF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Grelsson in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hubert Broberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johannes Lindkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 89 minutes on the clock, Mattias Ahlroht commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Gröstorp IF's Mattias Ahlroht got a free kick in the 89th minute. Håkan Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jon Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Boda were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
