After a defensive mix-up in Hajom BK's zone, Linus Hellsing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Deckbergh came out of the goal and Linus Hellsing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerry Pihlwall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Arne Deckbergh having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Pihlwall in the 8th minute of play forced Hajom BK's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Deckbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segmon IF's Jaime Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Aronsson in the 10th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game August Aronsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segmon IF's Jaime Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ludvig Stensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Cordarell having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Arne Runeberg in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Segmon IF's Nils-Åke Lindholm. When Tomas Brander fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hajom BK's protests and gave Tomas Brander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Hajom BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Brander to maneuver through the defense. August Aronsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jaime Cordarell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 58 minutes, Olle Lustig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segmon IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Lustig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 played minutes Hajom BK got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Brander. August Aronsson scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Cordarell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Herman Wennerlund came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Segmon IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Wennerlund couldn't finish the play. Nils-Åke Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Stig-Arne Deckbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segmon IF's Nils-Åke Lindholm got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herman Wennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Deckbergh having to interfere. The supporters of Segmon IF booed when Hajom BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Hafström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olle Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segmon IF's Olle Lustig got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Segmon IF's Nils-Åke Lindholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Deckbergh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hajom BK were victorious despite being under pressure from Segmon IF for much of the match.
