The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Jalladå's Claes Tidén got control of the ball when Alfons Lindgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Lindgren in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Tidén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Tord Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Odin was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. With his leg Claes Tidén managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Ucklum IF's Alfons Lindgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Jalladå's Claes Tidén got control of the ball when Alfons Lindgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Dennis Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Tidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Tidén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krister Gadd in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Odin saved Ucklum IF from getting behind. Alfons Lindgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Tidén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Jonsson in the 26th minute of play forced Jalladå's goalkeeper Claes Tidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ucklum IF booed when Jalladå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Jalladå got a freekick which was hit by Arne Söderkvist. 35 minutes into the match, Jalladå's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Jonsson came free, but Claes Tidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ucklum IF's Alfons Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dennis Jonsson made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Kjell Odin managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Jalladå's Krister Gadd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claes Tidén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Jonsson went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. William Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Odin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Jonsson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Tidén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ucklum IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dennis Jonsson in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Ucklum IF getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sven Beneth hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Sven Beneth fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Kennet Alebeck, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kjell Odin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Gadd in the 94th minute of play. Jalladå's Krister Gadd managed to work through Ucklum IF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Krister Gadd dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
